In our experiments, the term happens to be very weak, hence the large uncertainty given to η in Table 2.

For the sake of completeness, these equations hold for arbitrary history of deformation. In our nonlinear tests we specialized to the constant shear rate start-up flow, i.e. γ(t)=0 for t<0 and with constant for t≥0. This simplifies Eqs. (8), (11) as

hence the “bi-power law” name given to the model.
